Building Franchise Success Through Partnership
Since 2019, we've been helping business owners navigate the complex world of franchise finance. Not with flashy promises or overnight solutions—but through honest conversations and practical guidance that actually makes sense for your situation.
We Started Because the Industry Needed Something Different
Most finance consultants treat franchising like it's just another loan application. But anyone who's actually bought a franchise knows it's way more complicated than that. There's territory analysis, franchisor relationships, cash flow timing that doesn't match traditional business models.
Our founder, Briony Gallagher, spent years watching good franchise opportunities fall through because the financial advice didn't match the reality of how franchises actually work. So in 2019, she decided to build something better—a consultancy that understands both sides of the equation.
We're not here to sell you on the dream of franchise ownership. If your numbers don't work, we'll tell you. And if they do, we'll help you structure things in a way that sets you up properly from day one.
What Guides Our Work
These aren't corporate values written by a committee. They're the principles that have kept our clients coming back and referring their friends since we opened.
Real Talk About Money
We won't sugarcoat your financial position or oversell what's possible. Some consultants tell you what you want to hear—we tell you what you need to know, even when it's not what you hoped for. That honesty has saved our clients from some seriously bad decisions.
Franchise-Specific Expertise
General business finance advice doesn't cut it for franchises. The royalty structures, territory restrictions, and franchisor requirements create unique challenges. We've seen enough franchise deals to know where the hidden complications live and how to address them before they become problems.
Long-Term Relationships
Our best clients are the ones we've worked with for years—through their first franchise, their second location, and sometimes their eventual exit strategy. We're not interested in one-off transactions. We want to be your finance partner for the long haul.
No Cookie-Cutter Solutions
Every franchise opportunity is different. Every client's financial situation is unique. So why would we use the same approach for everyone? We build strategies that fit your specific circumstances, not templates that kind of work for most people.
How We've Grown
We started with Briony working from a spare bedroom, helping a handful of clients navigate franchise purchases in the Coffs Harbour area. Word spread—not because of fancy marketing, but because people appreciated getting straight answers.
By 2021, we'd expanded to serve clients across New South Wales and into Victoria. The franchise industry noticed what we were doing differently, and we started getting referrals from franchisors themselves—which doesn't happen unless you're actually helping their franchisees succeed.
These days, we work with everyone from first-time franchise buyers to experienced operators adding their fifth location. The clients change, but our approach hasn't: understand the specific situation, provide honest analysis, and help structure things properly.
The Person Behind the Advice
We keep our team intentionally small. That means when you work with us, you're getting experienced guidance—not handed off to whoever's available that day.
Briony Gallagher
Founder & Principal Consultant
Briony's been in finance since 2014, but she found her niche when she started specializing in franchise funding in 2018. Before starting quintheraos, she worked with a major lender and saw firsthand how generic financial advice was failing franchise buyers.
She's got her Advanced Diploma in Financial Services and belongs to the Franchise Council of Australia. But more importantly, she's helped structure finance for over 180 franchise purchases—and learned something new from every single one.
When she's not reviewing franchise disclosure documents or building financial models, she's probably at the beach or trying to convince her two kelpies that not every leaf needs to be herded.
Let's Talk About Your Franchise Plans
Whether you're exploring your first franchise opportunity or looking to expand an existing operation, we can help you figure out if the numbers make sense—and how to structure things if they do.
